My name is Jamie Williams, and my goal this season is to join the Swiss national freestyle skiing team. I am currently in my fourth year at the NLZ sports school in Brig, and this season is especially important to me. It could be a big step towards achieving my dream and taking my skiing to the next level. Freestyle skiing is a sport that requires a huge amount of commitment, both physically and mentally. It also comes with significant costs. (~ 30000fr per season) Right now, my parents support me by covering my travel, accommodation, ski passes, and equipment. I am incredibly grateful for everything they do for me, but I would love to help reduce some of the financial pressure on them. This season, my team is already planning trips to Austria, Italy, and France for training camps and competitions. These opportunities are important for my development, but the expenses quickly add up.
